We all know that we have some remarkable examples of how students and teachers are leveraging the power of technology to empower and develop deep-sustained learning but how do we get these sparks of innovation to spread throughout our entire district to create and cultivate a new learning culture? This year’s TechFest is all about fanning the flame. We are coming together to be challenged, collaborate and share our visions and practices for moving forward in the digital learning frontier.

Gamifying Like it's Sunday Night: Goodbye, Faith. Hello, Carrie!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Get Ready to get your Game on! Joining us from halfway around the world, Rory will show us how to transform our lessons to use the principles of game design to supercharge learning.  We are also thrilled to have Michael Matera beaming in from Wisconsin to share his field experiences as well. Togehter, they will show us some examples of how gamification enables students to knock the 4 C’s (creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication) right out of the park and point us in the right direction for making our own games.
