We all know that we have some remarkable examples of how students and teachers are leveraging the power of technology to empower and develop deep-sustained learning but how do we get these sparks of innovation to spread throughout our entire district to create and cultivate a new learning culture? This year’s TechFest is all about fanning the flame. We are coming together to be challenged, collaborate and share our visions and practices for moving forward in the digital learning frontier.

Serving Up Delicious Data

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Are you ready for some tasty treats? Alice is going to show you some amazing ways to find public data and serve it up using Google Fusion Tables. After sampling this goodness you’ll not only be begging for seconds, but you will have powerful new ways for your students to conduct global research and construct their own datalicious recipes for learning.

Note: This session assumes a working knowledge of Google Forms and Spreadsheets but you don’t have to be an expert.
